EV Connect Charging Station

At an early age, Jordan Ramer, founder of EV Connect, decided to make it his mission to confront what he saw as an existential threat to our planet—environmental pollution and its impacts on society. Jordan needed a job too, and he paired his personal interest in protecting the environment with his professional goals in the burgeoning clean energy and transportation industry, by joining AeroVironment, manufacturer of the first EV fast-charging stations, in a marketing and business development role. Between his experience at AeroVironment, Tesla’s early success with its Roadster electric vehicle, and launches of on-road electric vehicles by mainstream automakers such as GM and Nissan, Jordan realized that site owners, parking lot managers, fleet operators, and utilities would need a way to manage the complex and diverse infrastructure required to meet EV drivers’ rapidly expanding charging station requirements. In 2009, Jordan formed EV Connect to address that challenge.
